Country Retreat in the Hunter Valley—2 ½ hrs north of Sydney. Tyraman Retreat provides a suitable, cost-effective venue for workshops, functions, weddings, parties, small conferences and social gatherings with overnight accommodation for up to 16 people. Tyraman and its facilities cater for many offsite business activities, social gatherings or personal rest and relaxation.

The lodge contains a spacious lounge with open fireplace, and a separate dining
hall able to seat up to 30 people, making it ideal for workshops and health
retreats, small conferences, family reunions and weekends away with friends.
Guests enjoy the lodge and its 150 acre property as their private domain, with
its extensive rainforest gardens, dams, orchards and hillside walks.

Count
the stars around a campfire. Experience the calm of country mornings, with sunny
breakfasts on the veranda, watching mists evaporate in the valley below. Swim
in the dam or spot kangaroos at dusk. A
scramble up the dry-rainforest gully is a treat. For the energetic, a hike up Mt
Tyraman offers breathtaking views.

celebrating theatre, opera and jazz. Horse-riding, championship golf courses and
champagne balloon flights are also close at hand.
